Loose running board
Hey guys,
Pretty much exactly what the title says on the drivers side. It's not falling off loose but when I get out my heel clips it, and causes it to shake around as if it's not totally mounted. Does anyone have a guide on how to tighten it up or a DIY for installing new running boards?
Thanks guys

If you mean the plastic above the door sill, the piece is held on by clips and just pops off. It's possible something is blocking a clip from attaching.

Or do you mean the "Acura" piece?

Yes... side skirt... trucks are starting to rub off on me.
Not the trim panel you have in the picture but the body panel that runs along the body below the doors on the exterior.

There are screws and clips that hold the side skirt (or side under spoiler) together. Toward the front and rear wheel wells of the skirt has a few screws. The inside of the skirt will have white clips that need to be angled and slid into the hole in order for them to stay attached (I think this may be your problem). There are a few clips on the bottom of the skirt as well but the majority of the strength are from the inner clips.
I would lightly bang on the skirt w/ the palm of your hands to see if you hear any loose rattles from clips then go from there.
