Question looking for a tint color recommendation

I've got an RL in desert mist, the goldish color as seen in this video. I'm going to get light tinting, 50% the max allowed in Minnesota, and I'm trying to figure out if I should go with something in the usual gray/black colors or the bronze/gold tints might look nice. Any thoughts? Anyone seen gold/bronze film on a gold/tan car before?

Thanks.

Does the gold/bronze type film comes in non-metalic form? The kind that does not interfere with the navi?

yeah, it's available

Yeah, the formula one pinnacle series is a non-metallic/ceramic and includes a bronze: http://www.formulaone.com/pinnacle.htm

I'm just trying to figure out if gold-ish on gold-ish is going to look like an funk 70s old-man mobile or if it'll look nice together. When it comed to color I've got the aesthetic sense of the blind.

I didn't want to say anything before trying to be polite and not flame, but I think if you do a gold tint you need to add a coffee can sized exhaust tip and a home-made spoiler made out of rough wood or an ironing board.

You might get away with a gold tint on a black car if you looked like a pimp in reality.

I think if you do a tint like that, make sure it's done right. If the non-metallic looks cheap, get the metallic and have the GPS antenna relocated and have them make a hole for the XM antenna.

appreciated

Naw, that's the sort of advice I'm looking for. In MN we can only tint 50%, so whatever I do it'll be subtle. I'm just trying to figure out which color would look the least wierd.

Black will look good. It'll match the pillars and the tires.

You're supposed to make them yourself. I suggest Maxwell House since it's good to the last drop.
