Just picked up an 08 RL

Hey everyone. Just picked up an 08 RL yesterday. Been looking at different vehicles for a couple months and decided on the RL.

Couple pics from the dealer. Fully loaded, by searching here I can't see any features it's missing. Couple small issues that will be fixed soon. Headlights need polishing (or just swap for JDM) and some other things. Already have a mod list going so I'll probably start a build thread once stuff starts coming in. Already have 40+ threads saved so I'll be spending my time looking through them before asking unneeded questions.

Here's a few pics of my last rides.

And a bunch more. I'm a Administrator and Moderator on a bunch of GM SUV forums. Traded my Yukon for the Acura. As you can see I definitely like to mod vehicles and this one will be no different. Hope to learn a lot here!

Congrats on the RL! Just FYI on the options part... The only option you are missing is the Active Cruise Control (ACC) and the collision mitigation braking system (CMBS). The cars with those are much harder to find. But no matter, the RL is still very loaded! Have fun with your mods!

Thanks everyone! Already swapped out the tag lights, trunk lights and a couple interior lights with LEDs I had laying around. Just ordered the rest from SuperBrightLeds. I'll soon be ordering a few more upgrades as well.

Sweet. Thanks for the info. I was going to check on those 2 things today. I was reading the manual about the ACC and didn't see my grille having it.

Congrats

The 2G RL is a solid choice. I should be breaking 198k this weekend. The car has never let me down

Today I received all my interior, trunk and tag LEDs, Nokya yellow foglight bulbs, and leather center console replacement pads.

I have the H&R springs, Weathertech floor mats, the OEM wood grain steering wheel, and the TL wood grain shifter on their way as well.

I think I've made up my mind for rims... Looking for a set of Vossen CVT's.

Until you take me for a ride in the truck, your opinion is invalid

Looks like my springs, steering wheel and shifter will be here by the weekend so I'll start a build thread
