Picked up a JDM Honda Legend front end yesterday.
I dont know if i like the "H" grill. I love the headlights..The turn signal bulb looks to be different.

 

Curious as to how you found that. Too bad your HID cutoffs are reversed, so don't be surprised if oncoming traffic gets pissed at you.

 

I actually found it on Ebay, Right in NJ. I called them and made a cash deal.
The fenders and hood are inside the cab.
The cutoffs are not to bad, Kinda weird a first. I had a JDM front on my S2000 so im used it it. I just lowered the headlights a little not to blind on coming traffic.

The Legend bulb uses 7440. Get in touch with member JnC, he can make you a custom socket.

Nice find. How much did you land it for? As for the cutoffs, I left mine alone and noone has been bothered. I am not sure if it has anything to do with the fact Im lower but then theres auto leveling. That grill is the non cmbs grill. Nice Find

 

Thanks, I will if i cant figure it out. I ran into the same issue on my JDM 08 inspire headlights, I just trimmed the socket and housing...

 

I ended up getting the whole front end for $1,800. Yeah im not messing with the cutoffs, no point for me.

 

whats the difference btwn usdm & jdm front end? sorry im asking but Im doing HW on the RL trying to figure out what year to get and why what year has the most options, want to see what is the difference btwn legend & RL besides rhd & LHD etc......

 

Regular sort of JDM Honda stuff I guess, Honda badge and grill, no orange reflector in the headlight, different bulb setup. This one doesn't look like it has any kit on it, and it doesn't look like the car it came off of had the Tech package because IIRC every where but in the US the tech upgrade came with headlight sprayer vents on the bumper. Now that I think of it, this is most likely a USDM bumper with a bunch of JDM parts on it, being the grill and headlights and the fact that it came from NJ.

Still a great find though.

Honestly you only need headlights and grill. Everything else is the same a RL

There's a set of JDM headlights for $650 and another set for close to $1k, both from the same Hong Kong seller, new_stars. I tried to email them and got an auto-reply saying they are out of the office and cannot be reached. Buyer beware.

FYI, I think thats the CMBS grill. That emblem alone is $300 retail. But shop around...I got my headlights for $100 for the pair

 

There is no shield over the "H".

 

I was refering to the grill on ebay. Front end from that the Op bought came from a Legend without CMBS. Here is the Ebay grill;
