Ipod & USB Integration

I have a 2007 with Nav. Has anyone set-up Ipod Intergration or a USB drive that will display the playlist and songs on the Nav screen and can control with the steering wheel controls? If so what kind, are you pleased with it etc??

Thanks!!!

This will likely get moved to the electronic section, but the USA-Spec model and the DICE adapter are both compatible with the nav screen. I personally went with the DICE, but I am having issues with it (because of the install). I believe the XM must be disabled for the DICE setup but not for the USA-Spec. Good luck! If you do it yourself, there are a few DIYs for these. If you get it installed, please report back with the results!

Are you using a usb drive or an Ipod? Does the playlist and songs show on the navigation screen? Where is the usb drive or Ipod located?

Thanks again for your help!!!

I'm using the iphone 4. I ran the cable from the trunk all the way to the center next to the driver side seat. You have the option to control it from your ipod/iphone or the screen. You can control it from the steering wheel controls as well. There's a member here who has a DIY instructions and he located his ipod inside the trunk next to the XM module.

This is what I did with the different I ran the cable to the front which involved running the cable through the trims. Overall I'm very happy and it was a easy installation. One more thing before you start. Grab a beer you will need it.

One more thing that I forgot to answer.

Yes you see all the playlist, artist and songs. You have the option to control it from your steering wheel, nav or ipod, iphone directly.

Hope that helps.

The DICE also has the same on-screen display. I had my cable run to the glove box and the module was placed under the glove box. My problems stem from the install, not the unit.
