Interior LED - front map light

I bought a couple of LEDs for my front map lights and took the cover off but can't seem to pull the bulbs out. Anyone have any tips? Are there additional parts/screws that need to need to be taken out?

Thx

the bulbs are regular 194 widgets. My only suggestion is to grab closer to the base of the bulb.

There's always a fear that you'll squash the bulb and get cut up, but I went through the same thing and the bulbs held together.

You can try rocking them side to side a bit to loosen.

I personally went with a 9 led in 3 rows for mine and they light up half the car.

LOL... yeah, I should go find a kid in my apt complex and see if their little fingers work.

037 - thanks for the tip. I WAS a little afraid of the squashing the bulbs so was more careful. Will try it again this weekend. Quick question, the bulbs you got, do they fade out nicely when you close the doors?

they sure do, except I don't use them when I open the doors. At night it's a rather blinding experience

Wow, you're right. Those LEDs are hella bright. I don't plan on getting anything that bright so the one I'm looking at are these:

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...08401-1-2.html

and for rear dome

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...54410-1-2.html

I just have to call up vled and see if these bulbs can fade out.

I tried going with 1w bulbs in the front and it didn't turn out so well. The bulbs are facing the wrong way to provide a consistent amount of light throughout the reflector. That was the main reason to go with a 9 led cluster.

v-leds are way overpriced and I can't recommend them, all my stuff is ebayed direct from Hong Kong and this particular seller will ship out a replacement if your bulb is busted with minimum hassle. I actually bought 10 extra LED clusters so I can save on the 2-3 week shipping time when I do want to use them.

yin26yin28. I've bought all my LEDs from him.

the rear should be ok, but I would suggest 1 large LED instead of 2 tiny one's.

Let me know if you need samples, I've hit the wall quite a few times when I was picking mine out
