Looks like a Pimp mobile....why can't people be happy with what is manufactured without making a ton of MODS?

Those wheels look like the Falken Koblenz. Anyone have the original picture of this car with those wheels before the photoshop alterations?

Do you know what those wheels are called? Specs? Please share if you do.

They look very similar to the Koblenz to me...

Nope, but looking at them up close you will see a lot of differences vs. the Koblenz. (Spoke style, size, finish, etc.)

Looking at the back of the front fenderwell in this image makes me think they are photoshopped on. (Those rotors don't look right either)

True, but besides the finish, I think they give a good idea of what the Koblenz would look like on the RL

The offset of the 19" Koblenz (+35) and the width (8.5") make them a poor choice. Even if they clear the calipers, the top of the wheel will stick out to far in my opinion.

The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 26mm compared to stock.

Good references:

Stock Size
8" wide, +55

Aftermarket Sizes
8" wide, +45 - The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 10mm
8" wide, +42 - The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 13mm (PIAA Super Rozza 19", RonJon Devotion 18")
8" wide, +40 - The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 15mm (TSW Montage 18" and 19")
8" wide, +38 - The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 17mm
8" wide, +35 - The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 19mm
8.5" wide, +45 - The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 16mm (TSW Montage 20")
8.5" wide, +42 - The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 19mm (RonJon Devotion 19")
8.5" wide, +40 - The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 21mm
8.5" wide, +38 - The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 23mm
8.5" wide, +35 - The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 26mm

Thanks again for this information... but.. the Koblenz in 5X120 has a 38mm offset. That will bring it out 23mm ( 0.9 inches ) further than the stock 17X8 wheels. The 35-38 mm offset range is common for the 3 series BMWs. Our current wheel/tire setup does not fill the fenders at all.

The TSW Montages that were 18X8 with a 40 mm offset on SoCalCarDude's RL stick out 0.6 inches more than the stock wheel/tire setup. The Ronjon Devotions stick out 0.75 inches more than the stock wheel/tire setup. I am not sure how much an extra 0.25-0.3 inches will affect asthetics, but unless someone tries it, we will never find out (take out a ruler to see how small this really is and then see how "sunken in" our stock wheels/tires look). If they do work, imagine how many more wheels we could add to the list that fit the RL (pending that they clear the calipers). I know Edge Racing will give you a full refund if the wheels do not fit properly, not sure about the other online wheel dealers.

Just my .02$

I think the 19X8.5 Devotions look perfect...

Yep, you are right. I still think that that combo will stick out too far. But like you said, it's going to take somebody throwing them on to really know.

It may seem like so little, but it is very noticeable . . . especially from the side where the wheel creeps past the mud guards or the front bumper and rear bumper. Take that ruler outside and see for yourself.

FYI, in that old 3-pc devotion pic, the front is a +43.5 on 8.5

and the the rear wheel is a +47 on 8.5

Does that include return shipping?
