Question Inside Door Handle Cable

The cable snapped right at the hook part that is attached to the door latch so when I'm in the car and need to get out, I have to wind down the window and open the latch from outside. Yes this has gotten very annoying on Day 3. Has anyone changed this before? I'm wondering what exactly it is attached to and the best way to replace it. The part is coming in tomorrow and thankfully was only $20. The closest thing I saw was in the service manual but it addresses the outer handle and doesn't really reflect on what I need to do. Has anyone tackled this before or has any idea (Part #6 in the diagram Below)?

If I remember correctly, I believe it's just held together by locking tabs. You just disconnect the locking tabs and remove accordingly.

Its attached to the actuator. I think is tough to do it blindly without removing the actuator.

Hmmm, for some reason I was thinking the hook latch that connects to the lock switch that's part of the door panel.

No, I started to tackle it last night but I was having trouble getting the actuator because the window guide was in the way and was not coming off. The two latches from the diagram #7/22 and #6 are attached to the actuator. You have to unscrew a cover to get access to it. Its actually an easy job minus the window guide and I almost think I also have to disconnect the outside handle too. Pain in the rear.
