Dash lights during day dim at best

So long story short, i can barely see the dash for the speedo, brightness all the way up, the needles i can see very clear. So tonight i adjusted ith headlights on vs off, on i can vary the brightness, off the dash is either on or the absolute lowest setting.

I'm assuming you messed with the interior light dimmer controls...-/+ button located on the dash to the right of the steering wheel.

First off thanks for replying.

Here is the proof. When I look at other pictures the dash looks vibrant, like the 06 accord I had was clear night and day.

I'm pretty sure the dimmer buttons have no effect when the headlights are off. But your picture the IP looks about what I see on mine. The RL's daytime gauges are just not very bright.

Sadly the picture was done in the shade of my house when i was cleaning the garage. I noticed today i can see the rpm counter okay in the sun, however the speed is darn near a staring contest. Im just going to order a cheap cluster to discover what bulbs maybe. Id bet money they're burnt out (i know led.....)

Yeah, it's hard to tell the brightness of gauges from a picture since the picture is sometimes artificially "brightened."

Some follow up.

The bulbs (smd) are clustered together and not what i expected for possibly modifing. They should have copied what the did on the rpm side (8 led) instead of doing the 10 led on speedo. The lenses they used on rpm allow the led to magnified more since they are more spread out. They only channel the liht emission through the center vs having any on the out side of the dial.

I bought a back up to test around with. Friday ill do some tinkering with the leds and maybe adding my own and post pictures.the leds are colored based on the needed. Ex green, orange red. There is no colored film like on older cars and just using a white bulb per say.
