I may need to remove my BBK

Hi guys, the title says it all. Last night as I'm getting prepare for the coming winter I was measuring what size wheel spacers I will be needing and I discovered my OEM wheels don't fit with my new calipers . They rub with the inside of the wheel. This was not on my plans as I knew I had enough clearance with the rotors but never thought the calipers will be an issue, now I'm in the situation either sell my oem wheels and get a bigger set of aftermarket wheels and tires or remove the BBK and install the oem brake set for couple months. Unfortunately my other vehicle is a rear wheel drive (bmw) and won't help on the snow. I told my wife this morning and she was not too happy about it. I thought on the new RL wheels but I'm afraid it will be same issue.

I'd get a new set of aftermarket wheels for the winter. Too much hassle having to change brake systems for the seasons.

The TSW's I put on have massive clearance around my oem calipers... and they weren't listed as fitting except for on the TSW site. Many of their wheels on 5x120 have the same clearance, fyi.

I was thinking, what if I took a measurement between the back of the rim and the Acura caliper. If you know the difference, ie how much more your new ones stick out... you'd have an idea whether the TSW has enough draft.

Why not buy a larger spacer? You already have one on there right?

The problem is not the spacer, the problem is the top caliper rubs the inside of the rim giving no clearance to spin the wheel.

I know but with the coming holidays the last thing you want to do is spend more money. I'm working with my nephew and maybe I'll drive one of his vehicle for the winter. Will see.....

O I C. I was wondering that as I looked at the stock setup. The calipers are already very close to be adding larger rotors and bigger calipers.

You must be VERY bored...

Rotora makes his kit. 6 piston fronts, 4 piston rears.

It's almost like that there is more to engineering wheels, tires, rotors and calipers than just tightening some nuts?

Will my 18" TRMotorsports C2 fit over those calipers? Thinking of selling my rims. They're 18x8.5" +48mm.
