Mi MID (Maintenance Minder) is at 20%

I have a 1200 mile trip coming up

7500 * .20 = 1500 miles

What comes on MID after 20%?

Chas is correct. The oil doesn't "need" to be changed until it hits 0%. However, the MID becomes annoying at 15%. Each time you start the car, it will give you a "Service Due Soon", etc. In addition, an exclamation point will remain illuminated, indicating a system message. I service at 15% since it drives me nuts to have the constantly nagging reminder.

I stay so busy, that I would end up possibly forgetting to do it. The nagging reminder is there for a reason. It works perfectly, it makes me service the vehicle in a timely manner. I pay more than enough for my vehicles, I don't want to add any undue expense.

When you get to Zero you get an annoying yellow screen that says you are so many miles past your oil change, we were on a trip and it popped up on us. We were driving all night and when we got home we were -500 miles over due It is for those that need reminders that it is time to take your car in to a dealer for service.

I suppose the good thing to know is that it stops counting down after -999 miles...but no one has says what happens after that!
