I just traded up my '05 TL for the '05 RL. Feeling good but instead of buying, I went to leasing so I can keep the same payments. I ended up at $48K because of the negative equity from the trade in (28.5) but overall it was a good deal, I think. I did also give another 1K. I don't like the feeling again though of not having ownership on the vehicle. So far, I have gone from Leasing three vehicles in a row, then buying two, then now I'm back at leasing. Hopefully I won't bust the miles. That's what kills me sometimes!

oh yeah, I have x20380, Celestial Silver and no other added options. I do want the rear deck lid asap though. When I recover, I'll start added stuff. Although, I feel like its a waste again because its a lease. I hate dilemmas.

Well, I had a lot of negative equity. Because the dealership only bought my TL for 28.5, hence my true cost rose by about 6 thousand. They gave me the vehicle for $42.5K so I ended up with $48K. I took a dive because of that but I only put down $1000 and got the same payment as I did when I had the TL. I bought the TL and now am leasing the RL. So, my payments are a little high for 48 months, at $700...but I thought, I might as well step up and start leasing again.

I did also figure out that that is an expensive lease, but it was only because I took a bath in the negative equity. I will say, there are othe vehicles that I could have definitely got a good deal on like perhaps an S-Class (S 430 leasing for $599 or something like that) but I wouldn't have been able to get rid of the TL that easily. Don't get me wrong, I loved the TL but on my way home in the RL, I heard, felt and saw the difference.


What I want to know is that, because mine is a later build, the previous updates or TSBs, should have been completed on my car right? I went to owner's link and nothing showed up.

My dealer kept on telling me that the Acura Server will be up shortly, is that true?
