Has anybody tried the 4 point HVAC with any success? Try getting cool air to the driver vent and warm air to the feet and vice versa to the passenger. In theory it can be done but I'm not sure that it works as intended.

May I assume:
1 - Nobody knew that you can get different temps from 4 areas?
2 - Nobody has tried it.
3 - nobody has a solution
4 - All of the above.

There is a limit in the number of degrees you can request from one seat to another.

Go to the 2005 RL owner's manual here: https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...505O00162A.pdf

Then go to page 166. There is a diagram that shows how to do it.

Thanks, but I know how to do it. I was wondering if anyone had tried it and how well they thought it works. It's a nice feature but it is difficult to tell the temperature difference in 4 zones.

As I stated above, there is a max delta in temperature difference, which I believe is 10 degrees. Most males are only able to sense a 5 degree shift in temperature (females can sense 2-3 degree shifts). So a 10 degree difference from one spot in the car to another for a male isn't going to mean a whole bunch.

The entire point of multi-zone heating is for women. Only women can be warm up top and have cold feet.... Meanwhile, the male in the car will have heatstroke at any setting sufficiently thermally optimized for a female.

Simple solution:
1) If you are a female, become a male
2) Wear socks
