Can you be more specific? Which piece exactly? Please describe in detail or better yet, post a picture.

I am referring to the two largest wood trim pieces in the vehicle; one to the left and another to the right of the steering wheel.

Are you sure that is accurate?

I spent quite a bit of time trying to find some directions, and although my efforts were unsuccessful, I did find some good pictures of what the back of trim pieces looks like. It seems that there are about 6 clips that hold the largest, passenger side wood trim piece in place. Additionally, the B06-017 TSB that addresses a lot of squeaking and rattling issues provides some indication that removing the wood trim is not as labor intensive as removing the whole dash.

I'm quite sure they're just held with clips, similar to what previous Acuras have used for their 'wood' dashes.

Your best bet is to use a piece of cloth over a small flathead screwdriver.

well if you don't want to damage the dash then i would take it out they say it just pops off but if you loose a clip into the dash or end up scratching the dash you will be disappointing and cant blame anyone.
