How to fix this Bluetooth issue?
I have a 2006 RL, non-tech. All electronics in the car seem to work well....except one.
The Bluetooth is acting up when i am answering a call. Basically my phone syncs up with the car EVERY time without any issues. When i get a call, the car notifies me, as it should. As soon as i press the 'answer' button on the steering wheel to respond to the call, i see (on dashboard) and hear how my phone gets disconnected from the bluetooth and i can no longer talk to the other party over the bluetooth system. The phone itself still shows that it is connected to bluetooth but i do not hear anything on the car speakers.
I have to manually switch it to 'speaker' or 'headset' in order to take the call with the phone itself.
If i decide to place another call after that using the Bluetooth - everything works, like there was never a problem. I do not need to turn off/on the car or anything. If i get a new call, it usually works fine over the bluetooth.
Important: This issue happens very randomly and certainly not all the time. It happens only at the very beginning of the call, while i am answering. I almost never lose my bluetooth connectivity in the middle of a call.
Some days, i will be driving all day and i may get 6-7 calls. On 2 or 3 of them, i will lose my bluetooth and the rest will be fine. Some days, i will get calls and every singe one of them will work fine, with no drops. Yesterday, i got two calls and both of them lost the bluetooth connection while i was in the process of answering them.
Important 2: This issue was happening with my older Motorola Droid X phone... and now it is happening with my new HTC Rezound phone again. Phone seems to make no difference.
Why is this happening? Has anyone ever experienced this behavior? Any known fix for this? I am wondering if the dealer will even take me seriously if i take my 6 yr/old car to them with such problem. I am still under extended warranty, btw.
Thanks!

Try rebooting your car (pull battery cables, jump together, & turn ignition to (II)).
