Exclamation How to eliminate "i" in instrument panel

I have a 2005 RL that frequently (but inconsistently) shows "i" in the speedometer. However, when I go to the messages there is nothing there. Completely grayed out. And there is no reminder in the multi-display panel either.

So if anyone knows how to fix this irrelevant "i" display.

Many thanks!

The "i" means there is a message somewhere. Push the "up" button on the right side of the steering wheel and see if any messages appear in the little display below the speedometer.

Thanks for your reply but there is no message of any sort anywhere that I can find (including the place you suggested). All tires are normal as well as system function, according to the multi display. I am clueless.

Any OBDII codes?

Also, if you don't have your seatbelt on while the car is moving the "i" will come on.
