I have not had success with cargo nets. I am one of those people that prefers to have everything stowed away and not visible.

I have a trunk tray. Then I bought one of those pop open laundry / clothes storage things. It is about 2.5' x 2.5' x 10'' deep. It has a nice big zip open flap and handles. You can buy them in most markets.

I keep my emergency kit, towels, air compressor, first aid, a few plastic lawn bags, etc) in there. Neat and clean and easily removable if the trunk space is needed. I can put it on the back seat without worry of damaging the leather.

I have a small Rubbermaid container that I keep a bunch of cleaning supplies in (never know when a gastronomically distraught bird may fly over). I have the OEM cargo net that holds a windbreaker and some tennis balls in case I run into a friendly dog. A few small tools and things in the spare well (PAX - no spare) and some small things in the corners under the trunk floor liner. Other than that, there's nothing that stays in my trunk permanently.

Alot of plastic bags... bodies tend to slosh around in the curves even with SHAWD.

I couldn't live without a cargo net. Loose items in the trunk otherwise slide around and make too much noise. Boo!

Didn't you put yours in, Treblig? Oh wait, I forgot, this car doesn't come with one! I had to buy mine after I purchased the car.

I actually have two nets. One installed across the trunk floor and one installed in the "sling" position.

I also keep my trunk completely empty. I have a two-car garage, so all the cleaning supplies etc is kept there...

We keep a large, very large Rubbermaid type of plastic container back there, flush against the trunk edge, held in place with a bungee cord. When we have to put stuff in the trunk, we put it in the container so it doesn't slide around and hit the front and back and sides, a pet peeve of mine.

I have an Acura trunk tray and secure a largish milk crate down with fabric coverered bungies to the floor clips. I can see most everything and still have room around the crate for all sorts of things.
