So my proximity sensor doesn't work and I'm willing to let the feature go...

I would like to just get the orange "Check Keyless Access System" message to go away. Is there a way to do this?

I am comfortable removing the handle, fuse, etc.

So since this thread was already started, I figured I'd piggy back on it with my "Check Keyless Entry System" issue that started this morning. Every handle work, starting the car works, but the trunk no longer seams to work with the proximity sensor. The latch is fine. The FOB button works fine, I can pop it from the door button. So it seems just the proximity sensor went bad overnight.....

Anyone ever have this issue?

 

I have the same issue. It might have started because the battery died on my car. ?? Any idea how to fix this issue? is this a fuse issue?

Hey did you ever figure out what this problem was? My car is giving me that message also even though my key fob works to lock and unlock the doors.
