How to change Cabin Air Filter for 08 RL?
Hi, I'm new to this forum, but I just bought a 2008 Acura RL Tech Package about 3 weeks ago. I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the cabin air filter? and where is it located? Dealer wants alot of money to do this. Any help would greatly be appreciated!!
Also, can anyone tell me if the entire cover where the ignition switch-wipers-headlights control is suppose to move/wiggle alot? My cover/housing wiggles quite a bit when I pull or push on it from the top down or from under the steering wheel. Acura told me that this is normal.....but my other cars NEVER had this problem. Thanks!!!

I just did this in about three minutes today now that the pollen seems mostly over.
This time I am trying a FRAM Fresh Breeze filter with charcoal and baking soda. Much less expensive than OEM. I think the number is CF10134, but you had better check that yourself, don't rely on my memory for this.
Not sure what the other issue is.

Great DYI Chas2! Took me less then 5mins, (hardest part was in reinstall my hidden glove box) My stealership also wanted $100+ to do the cabin air filter change due to the degree of difficulty
Another $100 saved due to great AZ members!

Its a good filter and available on amazon:

It really helps with the smells while sitting in traffic (diesel etc).

Thanks for the info!! That link to the other thread was really helpful....I didn't think it was that EASY!! Now i know how dealers make their money.....something that would've have cost me only $20 and they're charging $100.
I got that other problem serviced already.....i think it was missing a screw....lol
