Honda/Acura Most Reliable

Read in the paper today that Consumer Reports says that Honda/Acura vehicles for 2008 are the most reliable. Great news, but will I get more $$$ when I trade?

It's all about supply and demand. There's a lot of factors which effect the balance between those two things. Will it help? Who knows. It certainly won't hurt.

It also said that Toyota/Lexus would no longer get an automatic recommendation because problems were increasing - specifically the transmission in the V6 Camry Sedan (Our RL replaced a 01 V6 Camry Solara Convertible - had no problems in 95K) and sound systems and accessories in the All Wheel Drive GS350(?) Lexus. Mercedes and BMW were somewhere down the list in the "Acceptable" region as I recall.

It hurt Toyota, seen as the most reliable, the size of their company and model lines grew very fast and they lost quality control. they have been able to keep it pretty quiet, having some of the biggest recalls in their history, recently.

If I recall the Toyota Prius was recalled last year or the year before. I just saw the news report this evening about they're no longer recommending the V6 Camry and Lexus GS AWD. But they still recommend the 4 cylinder Camry.
