I have a 2007 RL and a 2014 RDX, both with the HomeLink system. I recently had a new garage door opener (LiftMaster My Q) installed. I was able to trained the remote on the RDX and it works fine. However, after many attempts to program the RL with no success, I called HomeLink. They told me the 2007 had old technology and needed a repeater installed. Its basically programed/trained to the HomeLink in the car and then to the opener. My question is: has anyone actually used this repeater and does it work? Thanks!

Well the homelink repeater got dropped off today and I was able to install it in about five minutes...works as advertised. Now the wife is happy!
