The photochromatic windows are interesting. I've always wondered why they didn't take the technology from eye-glasses and apply it to car windows. I figured it must be too expensive because it makes a lot of sense. Tinted in the day....clear at night.

Wasn't Honda/Acura the first to come out with a collision avoidance system? and they aren't even mentioned.

Yes, and also the infrared camera with software recognition for human shapes. Not sold in the US

They also have the lane keeping assist which actually steers the car to keep it in lane, assuming the radius of the turn is less than 200m.
Not sold in the US

They also have the pedestrian friendly hood which pops up near the windshield join, presumably to keep the pedestrian out of the glass, though not sure exactly how the feature works.

Mercedes had that first, THen Acura and Lexus got on the boat to.
