Finally installed my HID foglights and to find out they are 6k instead of the 5k I ordered
. Now im just going to upgrade my OEM HID to 6k also. anyone here upgraded there OEM HID to anything higher than 4300k?

There is a lot of discussion already on it, but briefly, not recommended. 6k will be dimmer though bluer.

Tx.No, I dont add any fuse, just tie to the corner lights. And yes after "WE" cut the bumpers and molded around the S6 lights "WE" repaint front bumper.

As long as you fellas don't encounter much actual fog, I think both are neat-looking modifications. However, if one were looking to ensure the fog lights work well in fog, cranking the light temp up into the blues isn't really the way to go.

The difference between 5000k and 6000k is minimal in terms of lumen (light output). Techincally the 5000k is brighter but to the naked eye 6000k will look brighter b/c it is more white with a tint of blue. So you're not going to notice a difference either way.
