HID bulb sizes and swapping?

I was wondering if anyone knew the bulb sizes for the RL. I'm guessing since it has a projector lens, it would be D2S??? I'm currently looking into swapping out the OEM bulbs to the Philips 6000k. The cutoff for the lights are pretty short, and I know there is a loss of visibility as you climb the spectrum (i.e. 6000k, 8000k, beyond...) Anyhow, I live in a well lit city, so I'm not too worried about poor visibility as others have reported.

Looking under the hood, the task looks difficult since the lights are buried way in the back almost hitting the wheel wells. Anyone managed to do this yet?

Yes D2S. Don't own and RL, so can't tell you about how to do it. if you get any you should get 6000k, I have 8000k and I like them, but it might be too blue for most people's taste. I don't think their is a lost of visibility, is barely noticable.
