Help My 2005 RL A/C stop blowing cold Air

Help!
My 2005 Acura RL A/c stop Blowing Cold. I Had Recently Replaced the Stator on my A/c Compressor 2 months ago. Andthat fix the Problem. And now again My A/C again Stop blowing cold Air and it not the clutch or the stator. Because I see and hear it Engaging. And I have Notice that only the Passenger side get cold. But the Driver side blow only warm Air. There’s no leak, I did a diagnostic test and nothing. Guys I need your Help. My car has no Warranty. And I don't want to pay an Arm and a Leg. If I can fix it my self.

I am having similar issue on my 06 RL. When I first start the car it blows cold air for a while, then it would stop. Earlier today it worked all the way to the grocery store, when I came out of the store, the AC would not blow cold air. It's very sporadic.

Luckily I have warranty. Will let you know if they find something. Hopefully it acts up while I am at the dealer.

Maybe a relay? I had to replace a relay a few years back in my TSX, which was sporadically blowing warm and cool air just like yours.

Was this resolved?

I have Notice that only the Passenger side get cold. But the Driver side blow only warm Air.
Just a thought, but NSXs exhibit this behavior when it is low on refrigerant. Have you checked refrigerant levels?

Ok - sorry took a while to get back with my results. What happen was there was more air then refridgerant in the lines some how (i.e. leak or discharge). This resulted in higher pressure on the low side. They had to back everything out, leak check, and recharge.

I had this happen to my 05 RL several months ago. The dealer replaced the compressor (under warranty) and mentioned that mine wasn't the first one that they have done. Consumer Reports also rates the 05 RL's HAVC system as much below average. If you're not still covered, I hope it's not the same for you. Good luck!

I noticed when I bought my 05 RL with 50,000 miles on it, at 48,000 miles the dealer replaced the AC compressor under warranty...

Hey, I have a 2007 RL that I bought used off someone. Previous owner did almost nothing to the car which had no type of fluid in the car such as coolant, oil change, windshield fluid and even the gas. My only problem with the car now is that the AC works but doesn't really blow any air. I recently had the a/c fan motor change and had it charged but still not blowing. Could it be the compressor ?

check to see if there is 12 volts at the compressor with car running and ac on max. if you have 12 volts its probably the compressor
