Have you experienced this? Mirror / auto unlock / auto headlights not working

I found one thread from 2009 about this, but it did not say what was the eventual problem or resolution, so I'll open a new thread...

About a month ago the mirror adjustment switch, the auto door unlocking (when shifted to P) and the auto headlights all stop functioning. Somehow they are all related, as was mentioned in the 2009 thread.

I cannot find any fuse that is labled for any of these, and I don't know what else to look for. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what was the problem or outcome?

Thanks in advance for any info.

What year is your RL? There was a problem affecting the entire fuse panel in '05 that could be related - Kinda throwing punches in the dark though without more information...

When you start the car does it say Welcome, or Welcome Driver 1 (or Driver 2)?

Thanks for the reply. It's a 2006 RL.

Everything works normally except those 3 features; the car recognizes both keys and all the settings.

It is a funky problem, that's why I am hoping that someone has actually experienced it before.

My 06 RL did this exactly one week after I bought it which was about a year and a half ago. The side mirrors stopped moving and the auto-lights quit and it all happened at the exact same time. I checked all fuses and they were all good and I had no idea what to do. I had only had the car a week like I said and in a panic I let my best friend check it out who's a diagnostic specialist for Lexus. First thing he did was unhook the battery and check the battery itself. It was late and I needed the car so I went to his house and we fired the car back up and everything was working perfect again, all he did was unhook the battery and hook it back up after about 10 minutes. It's been almost a year and a half since then and it's never done it again. I would give that a try before anything else.
