Talking Good deal or wait ? New Incentives ?

Hey guys as we all know there is a 3k cash to dealer incentive on the RL till sept 5th.

After some bargaining I have a quote for 41k+tax&tags (non-tech). I think this is a good deal, but since sept 5th is close I was wondering if the incentive might be increased or is there a chance it will go away ?.

Trying to decide if I should buy now or wait a bit ?

Buy now. I think Acura has figured out that the RL isn't selling well and they have decreased production. I don't see Acura having a glut of '06's on the lot as they had '05's this tme last year and through December. About 10-12 months ago, you could get an RL for as low as $40K +TTL, but I don't see that happening again. $41K is a price point that has been available since late spring and probably will be through October until the '06 is just about gone.

If the RL is what you want, buy it now while there is still some decent supply of '06s available (though I'd recommend leasing unless you'll own the car for 7+ years). Also, seriously think about getting the extended warranty to cover the electronics if buying.

Thanks Tully44. Actually if I was in CA I think I would be able to negotiate under 41k as there seems to be people in that area getting good deals. At 41k I think they are making $670 (from the 3% holdback) , which I guess is ok?.

I paid more than $41K for mine and thought it was a good deal... and I still do.

If I could buy one where I am(Southern Mid-Atlantic Region) for that I might buy another<G>!

There are a couple of used 2006s available for the asking of $41K!!!

Did I misread this thread or should I move?

mhcclt, well I played each dealer against each other and that was the lowest I could get. Seems in California I read people got it in the low 40's.
