I thought the fuel capacity for the RL was 19.4.. my last 2 fill ups that i have done both have been over 21 gallons.

Both fill ups occurred when i seen that my range was around 30 miles before the Light came on.

i think it might be a issue with the measuring at the pump if so I guess i will have to make a call

 

Yes, make a call. I have been to 0 on my range and only put in 17 gal. I thought the tank was 19.1.

 

Same here never have I been able to stuff more that 17.5 in the tank that's after I hit 0 and drove about 30 mi home then to gas station next day... Make the call its free, go ahead make the call, what're u waiting for make the call..... Everest college voice!!

 

Was it the same station? I saw a news story once about a station that had it's pumps rigged to add a few gallons for every fill up. The guys pocketed a fortune before they were caught.

 

The range is way off when it gets below 40 miles. That said, tank should be only 19.5 gallons. Report that station

 

same station i only go to 2 gas stations I'm pretty picky about my fuel that i put in my car.

 

Yeah, I thought Acura was on crack the first time I filled up my car. My very first fillup was 18.7 gallons, and I had an estimated 100 mile range. Then again, it's 3 gallons in the filler next (which I assume is what fills up after the click), which I still can't make sense of.
