Front bumper sensors? Are they available?

I know that rear sensors are available. How about sensors for the front bumper? I know Acura does'nt offer anything but was wondering if anything like this is availble.

We have a tight turn into the garage and was thinking about getting a sensor on the side of the front bumper letting my wife know she's too close to the garage and may damage the car.

Anyone have any experience with this? Please let me know.

Thanks.

No sensors, but the Japanese Legend/RL has the front camera option. ;-)

The sensors were properly installed, and looked like they are manufactured to be in the front, i'll check with the dealer

I saw an stereo shop do just that. They purchased the rear setup and put it up front. I would guess though that you just have to be careful as to not affect the airbag sensors.

The European version of the Honda Legend has front and rear sensors available as an option. I wonder why they are not available here? Has anyone asked Acura CS?

I put backup sensors on the front bumper of my F350 (really needs them) but when it is put in aftermarket you need to put a switch on the system(I used one the extra switches standard on the truck). The rear sensors turn on via the backup light power. Wouldn't want front sensors on all the time. They will give false readings every once in a while...especially if its raining or they get dirty (how dare anyone drive a dirty RL)

BTW...much cheaper front sensors...tell your wife or kids to get out and tell you how close you are! (reminds me of Woody Allen movie)

I checked with the dealer today.
The Touring Odyssey Navi/entertainment is equipped with two front sensors.
An asshole at the parts department didn't like it that i'm asking about a Honda part for an Acura and kept asking for the VIN number. I told him that i KNOW that i can purchase any part without a VIN, so cut the BULL.
The dealer sell each sensor for $250.00. so thats over $500.00
Ray Lakes Acura sell them for $198 each in addition to attachments. Total price is $399.00.

Honda Legends in Europe (except Great Britain) are not equipped with manual shift???
But they have everything including front parking sensors, which my friend in Hungary is ordering for me.
Hopefully it'll work
