I noticed on the '05's the front brake caliper appears to be black, but on my '06 I notice it's more of a dark grey (natural color of the aluminum?).

Since the '06 is not painted I notice some uneveness and blotch's in that dark grey color across the caliper. Anyone else have this issue ?.

 

Our 05's is gray, not black. Just be careful and never use any wheel cleaners on them or else they'll stain the calipers.

 

I never have, must have been the dealer I guess.

 

I like the color (grey) better than the now common red....Audi's S6 and S8 are moving this way....it would be nice to be able to pick the color...but for a mass produced car, it is beautiful IMHO.

 

I wanted to change it to silver with black acura letters and black bolts, this way the color match's the rear calipers....but we'll see, I need rims first.
