Well folks.....

I really scored! If anyone recalls, I bought a new RL about a month ago - had some significant probs with vibration at 75-85 mph.

Had the tires balanced - no help....

This was occuring when I bought the car and I had them guarantee that they would fix the prob.....

I just got Black chrome 18s with Michelin pilots A/S for $1700! They matched the ebay price and gave me $700 credit for my flatspotted OEM 17 tires. I will putr snot/ice tires on the 17s later this year.

The new 18s look great (see hothonda's pics) and there is nooooooo vibrations. It did make a difference in ride ... i notice a lot more road imperfections. This is definately a good upgrade.

Good to hear the problem has been resolved.

 

Glad the problem is solved. You join the legions of members here who have found vast improvements in the RL by replacing the crap OEM tires.
