Fender Depression

Today I noticed the front fender on the driver's side has 2 small depressions on top. Difficult to see unless the sun hits the car just right.
Now I'm remembering the thread on getting the power steering hose replaced. People were noticing dents on the fenders after having the recall service. Probably caused by the technician leaning on the fender.
I had a B1 service a while back but didn't notice anything at the time. Now it's probably too late to complain to the dealer. Damnit
Given how thin the fenders are, and how easily they can be dented, it's probably a good idea to inspect them before having any service done so you don't find out after the fact like I did.

Any paintless dent removal shop can pop those out no problem. I had it done on my car a few months back.

Thanks, I was wondering who to take it to. There is a paintless place a few miles from my home.

The top surface of the RLs front fenders are quite wide. They are also aluminum. I take caution not to lean on them for that very reason. Even my Acura Tech has told me they have been advised to take caution on the RL's fenders when working in the engine bay. Even using large foam mats, he told me they do not lean on or against the wide fenders.

The mirror like finish of the car can be dazzling is the correct light, but it will also call out subtle imperfections that make us

I had a couple of similar depressions in my fender and a paintless dent guy took them right out. I can't say exactly when I got them but now each time I'm in for service, I remind my service rep that the fenders are wide and easily "dentable." Haven't had one since.

Got the dimples, too. Have yet to get them taken care of but they showed up after the power steering hose recall.

Wow. I have them too. I thought I might have done them leaning on the top of my fender while taking my tire off to paint my calipers. You can barely see them, but I know where they are and they stick out to me.

Live and learn.
