Factory warranty wrap-up *Pflueger Acura Kicks ass*
Just want to give credit where it's due.
So the factory warranty on my 2006 is nearing its end (in the process of getting Acura care). I took it in several weeks ago to address a "creaking/clicking" noise in the front. Turned out the rear beam on the subframe was defective, causing some interaction with the rear motor mount. While I was there I sheepishly asked about the rear door handle exterior covers and my steering wheel controls.
Here's what they did:
Subframe replaced
Transmission fluid serviced
f/r motor mounts replaced
Alignment
Steering wheel controls replaced (including the paddle shifters)
Exterior Handle covers replaced (still waiting on one).
Here's what's been replaced over the life of the factory warranty:
Radio
A/C components
Front rotors/pads
Battery (2x)
My car is practically brand new.
There was no hesitation by my dealer to replace any of the parts or address any of the issues I raised (except for the occasional squeal I still get from my rear brakes).
After my acura-care runs out on this car, I'll be back for another RL (or similar).
Of course, if you live in Hawaii there is only one Acura dealer - but they continue to exceed my expectations.
Side note: They gave me a TSX V6 loaner. It's an extremely fun car, but it really just reminds me of an updated civic w/gsr motor. Seats are firm, but not comfy - like the RL's. It's a great car for a young professional still stretching out their teen years.
After being without my car for nearly a week it was nice to be greeted with the smell of real leather.

Hawaii...nice. The only dealer in Manhattan ain't so great, refuses to work on a car if it has aftermarket parts, one of the advisors always screws me up...I wish I could get real service, with a loaner or something.

I think user Colin, who works at Pflueger, will be pleased to read this. We know how cool Colin is from the RL introductory video he made, I'm glad to see the service department is too.

Thanks for the heads up. For this type of goodwill repairs, an equal amount of credit must to the Acura themselves for standing behind the product and going beyond the norm. I also used to see this kind of customer service for NSX clients as well. BTW, we are officially Acura of Honolulu now.
