Exterior Lighting (Plate and Reverse Lights)
There are plenty of options available. Do a little searching:

The license plate lights are T10 wedge bulbs (2825). The reverse lights are 7440 which usually has a more common like "T10", but I don't know what it is.
Pretty much any T10 led with 4 or more smd LEDs will be brighter than stock. As for reverse, I would imagine you will want to look for some high power non SMD bulbs to be brighter. I haven't done those, so I'm not sure what the options are.

The plate lights, you have to go from the inside of the trunk to get to them. The service manual says you can go from the outside, but I found that to be impossible without using an insane amount of force. Basically, just take the trunk liner off and you have full access to them:

There should be a DIY topic somewhere on this forum...
The reverse lights should be a lot easier. You just have to take out the whole housing by prying (?) off the plastic covers on each medial side of the taillights when you open up the trunk. And under it should just be screws to loosen, and you should be able to pop out the taillight housing as a whole. The thing about the reverse lights is that you have to make sure the LEDs you buy can fit through the access hole into the housing. Other than that, it should be pretty easy. I would have done the reverse lights, but the LEDs that I wanted were 50 bucks for a pair...kinda expensive if you ask me.

Hey guys. I'm contemplating replacing my license plate lights also. I'm planning on purchasing them from superbrightleds.com and i'm not sure which 1 to buy. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. http://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/l...1-888--367428/
Any of those would work except maybe the last one. However, the only one I would even consider buying is this one because it is less than $2/bulb. http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...d-product/198/
eBay has the same stuff for way cheaper than any of these US sites. All of this stuff is made in China anyway; why not cut out the middle man trying to make his dollar off of you? I bought all ten of my interior T10s on eBay for $2 shipped a year ago, and I haven't had 1 burn out. Any warranty or garauntee talk on a $1 led bulb is a joke.
