According to my new Motor Trend magazine, Hyundia is going to have a V-8 in 2008.

"This car is going to shock you. It's going to shock GM and Toyota, too. Even BMW and Mercedes-Benz are going to pay attention. Hyundai calls it Concept Genesis, but you can forget the concept bit; apart from the odd piece of showcar eye-candy, you're looking at Korea's first production sport-luxury sedan. It has rear drive and a V-8 engine. And it'll be in a Hyundai showroom near you sometime in 2008"

 

Yea, I saw that. RWD V8 and made by Hyundai. They are catching up big time.

 

Yes, i am well-aware of this car, and the topic was shared from my one of most popluar korean car club website (in korea).

Funny thing is, it looks exactly like the new Camry, front to back, even the body shape.
The Michigan Hyundai Research Office had a brand new Camry at the office (last spring), using the Camry as a tool, i guess this is what they came up with.

I don't expect too much from this new vehicle, it will just be another big issue of copying other vehicle.

 

Not a bad looking car either.
