Can anyone describe to me the location of the VIN in the engine compartment? I want to see how many of the TSBs have been performed on my car. Since almost everything is encased in plastic, it is not obvious where the engine VIN is located. TIA.

 

Sorry, I looked in the service manual and it doesn't list the VIN anywhere (that I found in the index at least). Maybe somebody else can chime in.

 

It should be located by the driver windshield between the dash board and windshield. Stand on the side of your car (drivers side). Look under the windshield wiper blade arm, it shoud be on a tag there.....All your paperwor will have that number too !

 

I thought he meant inside the engine compartment, not that one... but maybe I am mistaken.

 

I think there is another VIN in the engine compartment somewhere, but I don't want to tear it apart to find it. BTW, I am pretty sure that this is not the same as the VIN plate at the bottom of the w/s.
