Engine Block Heater KB1

Hey everyone! It's starting to get colder near me and I'm considering getting the engine block heater for my RL.

Any chance someone here uses one or has installed one? I'm curious what I may be getting myself into, or if it's somewhat simple. I'm also curious if my stock engine is already equipped to support this part or if I need to modify it somehow.

Part# is 08T44-SJA-200 if anyone is curious, I found one from a dealer online for $60.

Thanks!

If you have a look at the photo here https://www.hondapartswholesaledirec...er-08t44sja200 - it literally is just a screw-in heater unit and a mains power cable.
Some warm up the coolant and some warm up the oil, not sure which type this is though... but you can also get universal ones that just stick right onto the sump itself, like this https://www.ebay.com/i/254616654386 which won't need you to drain the oil or coolant.

I've never used one so this is not a recommendation.

Yep, that OEM one is the exact one I am looking at. It's only $60 so I may just take a chance on it and see how it goes.

Thanks for your input/info!
