Dyno
Dyno
There are three brands of 4wd/awd dynos in this area (northern VA). Mustang, Dyno Dynamics and Dynojet. Should I be looking at one over the other for the RL, or does it matter.
There are also different models within brands, like a Dyno Dynamics with quad retarder.
Any pointers on what to look for?
I am not looking to do anything fancy, just a baseline and bolt ons over time.
Thanks

It doesn't matter which one you use. It only matters that you use the same dyno before and after your mods, under similar conditions (ambient temp, airflow, humidity etc. ) if at all possible. One type of dyno is not better than another.
As you may recall, I did pre- and post- mod dynos on a Mustang. I did a "second opinion" dyno on a Dyno Dynamics later. Thanks for offering to be a data point with your RL.
EDIT: Chas, I direct you to your own post of three months ago, in which you answer your own question.
