DST Patch Available

All,

Its almost time for turning back the clock, just to share the information, as many of you know, most 06 RL came with the old day light saving calendar.

I had my in for a B1 yesterday and asked for a fixed, they put a patch on, now under clock adjustment, i have a new option for DST Calendar and can finally turn the automatic DST on.

Take care & drive safe.

How decent of them. I had to pay $200 for it with the 4.62 Nav Disc.

I am sure you got more than just the DST patch with the new Disc :-)

For those whom are interested out there, you can reference Service Bulletin#07-022 for this fix.

There's a fix separate from the navi disc? You sure they didn't just update your navi disc for free by accident or something?

Apparently so. My Tech told me a month or so ago that a memory flash was being readied to address the DST issue. I have been anticipating it, was just not aware is was already available.

I had my RL in for an oil change last week and they did the DST patch. Just changes the one screen on the NAVI. They also told me there was another update that would take about an hour but the service manager was a little vague on what it was. I'm hoping for a free update to 4.64.

Oh, and I still have the choice of two voices in the NAV system so I am sure it was a simple patch not a new disc.

Pardon the OT stray....

But static's avatar comes from this article release last spring. Interestingly, the V8 discussion has also re-surfaced on the board as well.

If I knew for sure that was coming, and with a V8, I'd hold off on my current plan to buy a CTS-V. I'm holding off for a year anyway to see where the economy's headed.
