Door handle 2005 RL

The door handle that pulls the door closed just broke off in my hand. Any suggestions?

In all seriousness, has anyone here had any success gluing these?

And I've read all about this (thank goodness, it hasn't happened to me) -- where do they usually break? Down near the base?

I glued mine back on. Lasted for 3+ years. Several weeks ago, broke again, but I will glue again. (The dealer broke it off, but that's another story)
It primarily breaks if you pull from the top of the handle versus the lower half of the handle

Yeah I used a lot of clear super glue to put mine back together, my driver side broke off. And then this chick i was taking out some how broke my passenger side off too (LOL) So far Its been good for about 7 months but I usually dont even use the door handles anymore lol I just close my door using the forearm rest thing or I pull from where the window buttons are

At what point does it usually break?

Where the silver collar at the top meets the wood trim? At the bottom of the collar where it meets the top of the leather?

What type of glue did you use?

Used superglue

At the top it breaks right where the leather meets the plastic. At the bottom it breaks below the plastic collar. The bottom has some plastic the sticks up from the arm rest into the collar. So the bottom is stronger. Always pull from the lower portion.

I used Plastic Epoxy. Been holding up for about a year now.

Do you have to buy the 'grip' which is 25 bucks or the entire grip + leather part?

35/55 grip or 35/55+ 25/46
