Differential fluid drain and refill (2 drain plugs?)

I was doing the differential fluid drain and refill......I saw 2 drain plugs back there but only I filler hole. Aren't there suppose to be 2 filler holes? I only drain one of them and left the other one alone......please let me know how to fill the other one up?

Havent looked at it yet, but on the MDX it has 2 plugs. The lower plug is to drain the fluid and the upper to refill the fluid. I always open the top one first to make sure once I pull the drain plug I can refill it.

Nope, there are two of each-I have taken out both pairs twice now when ca=hanging my diff fluid. One is a bit difficult to get to, but it is doable without needing a lift.

Here's a great close-up of the differential. I only see one filler and one drain.

Why would you have two of each unless there are two separate cavities that house the fluid separatel?

In other words, if you only use one of each, will you be able to do a full drain and refill?

My dealer told me there were two of each....

How frequently (how many miles) do you guys change your fluid?

What fluid do you use?

The second filler hole is on the back of the differential case. Toward the upper right hand corner (when facing the front of the car). It's hard to see because of the rear sub-frame cross-member, but it's there and it is reachable although it's a close fit between the differential case and the rear cross-member.
