I know for sure that if I ever had to get rid of the NSX and have just the RL, I would most definitely miss the options on the RL. The NSX is gorgeous on the outside and on the inside, but the most luxurious option is climate control on the car. I mean they still had cassette players in the 2005s. IMO, a new car should have been developed in 15 years. At least they should have updated the dash a little and put in some LEDs in the back as well.

You don't own a car.

You own an ICON, a legend. NSX

Videos? I'd like to hear how the exhaust sounds on an NSX. I will have one of these someday.

I don't think photos can do it justice - it is definitely a one of a kind icon.

I like the NSX, the color combo...well...I will stick with my Formula Red/Black. To me it's just a classic combo and resale is always there as well.

This is your daily driver as well?

I think the exterior is timeless, but that interior is definitely showing its age.
Very bland and spartan, but looks solidly built.

Can't think of a car I would want to drive more on a daily basis except for in the snow.

The interior is actually perfect for the car with very high quality materials. It is very clean and purposeful. The dash and interior are all hand stitched leather, it is very classy. No, it does not have any gizmos, but I am OK with that. This is an amazing sports car that truly is balanced in every way. The only thing I will change is to add Navi and upgrade the stereo, but I am in no rush. The car itself is so satisfying to be in that nothing else matters to me......Steve

If I were you (and I think most of us *wish* we were you but that's another story :-), I'd go with a Garmin nuvi 350/360 or TomTom 910 GPS unit.

They both have high-quality touchscreens and great GPS sensitivity (the Garmin also using WAAS for terrestrial correction), and include SD-based MP3 players as well.

With upgraded amplifier/speakers and hardwire audio connection (from navi > audio) you'll be in great shape. And can obviously take these units on the road with you when you're not in the NSX.

I would not add the Navi and/or upgrade the stereo. I agree with you that the interior is perfect from the factory - in fact, the whole car is perfect from the factory. I've seen one with the factory Navi installed (he said was factory) and it seriously detracted from the all purposeful look of the interior. There is a nice pocket for maps behind the passenger seat on the firewall.

The car is just too noisy to make any stereo improvements worth the effort. I enjoy all the mechanical clatter and the supreme induction wail at full throttle instead. I normally drive with the stereo off.

I know it looks clunky in the pics but you really dont notice it when driving since it is hidden behind the stering wheel spoke. In fact, until you posted I never gave its size any thought..........Steve

I have ALWAYS wondered what it was and when i sat in an nsx a few years ago i never did remember to check.

I love my TL, but that F430 is just amazing, I've seen a couple and I just stare and drop my jaw. My dream car for sure.

Yep, I love the F430 and would buy one in a second if I won the lotto or came into a good chunk of money.

I saw one once I think last summer and I wanted to turn around and follow the guy and just listen to the engine go. That bastard.

I never understood why with such a nice interior they didnt just give the NSX the same steering wheel as the one in the s2000 or the TSX, something a little more modern looking. Otherwise, congrats. I'd love to drive that for just a day.

The NSX completely outclasses the other cars. Considering the power of the Lambos it is remarkable he kept them off until the last lap. The BMW, Porsche and Ferrari did not even have a chance......NSX is some car......Steve

Theres a twin turbo kit out there for this car.
It will give it 100 more horses so 290+100=390.
also another 10 horses if you upgrade the exhaust system for a total of 400 horses.
