I bought a new RL 2006 last August (2006). Since then, I have had a dead battery six times over the last 6 1/1 months. The dealer says that there is nothing wrong with the electronics or the battery. He has resisted replacing my battery. Accura Road Side Assistance is very fast and efficient. I receive a battery boost and the car functions. I have no confidence in the car. Maybe I am doing something wrong. I check to see that no lights are left on. Any ideas?

Bite the bullet and buy yourself a new battery. And when you no longer have any dead battery issues bring the old one into the dealership and drop it onto the manager's desk.

Try a different dealer. Unless you are causing it, you have a bad battery (which should still be 100% under warranty) or an electrical problem.
I put a new battery in my '04 MDX a few months ago and it was still 50% covered.

This is clearly a battery issue and you should be issued a new one under warranty. The dealer is definitely BSing you. Persist nicely, or take it up the food chain to the service manager or dealership manager.
Good luck!

Have they done a load test on your battery? If they just check the output with a voltmeter or whatever, it might not show a weak cell, whereas a load test will reveal it.
But it's either the battery or something in the electrical system is draining it, so one way or the other, it should be a warranty issue. You might have to try another dealer.

Dead Battery
I bought my RL in August of 06 as well. I found my car would not start 3 or 4 times before its first service in November ( usually after sitting a day or two). I let the dealer know it was my main concern when it went for service. They " checked everything" and told me everything electrical was fine
. A week later the car sat for 9 days while we vacationed. It needed a jump to get my wife off to work then stranded her after work. Acura picked the car up the next day and kept the car for two days to check it out again. They replaced the battery and we have not had any trouble since.
PS - Another symptom our car had before replacing the battery was that the audio/ navigation would " blink" - i.e. cut out for a split second then give part of a voice instruction. That went away when the battery was replaced.
The car has been perfect since.
