Crack in dashboard wood

Anyone had their dashboard wood crack?

Mine did (incidentally while at the dealer) right along a squiggly seam/joint at the center passenger vent.

Seems quite odd...

Thankfully, no. Sounds like someone rested their heavy boot on the dash wood or something....

Looking at the TSB the dealer may have done everything (instead of just the center console area around the shifter), and ended up using too much felt or hitting the wood too hard upon replacement. I'll probably never learn the reason but I'm going to do my best to find out...
