treky11,

I am not sure about the part#, but if you are looking to purchase one, this is the best PAY NOW price (and shipping cost) I have seen.

My wheel came from this same seller. Great price!

What are you waiting for*!?!

*[I have no affiliation with this seller, other than I bought the wheel from him and I really like the wheel. Mucho Gusto!]

Well the wheel arrived yesterday! I have to say I am impressed with the look and feel over the standard wheel. I like the quality of the perforated leather and I see what you all mean about the thumb contours. I did not find the stitching to be an issue at all. I hope to have it installed this weekend so I can attest to the improved look of the cabin.

I got an outstanding price and it arrived unscathed in OEM Acura box / packaging. As much as I whined and procrastinated, I think it will be a nice 1 year upgrade to my RL.

I'll report into headquaters after the install.

Congrats on the wood wheel. Will you be doing it yourself? If ol' "Ten Thumbs" here can do it, anybody can!

I may. My Acura Tech has been a good guy (after buying him a few lunches and Happy Hours to ensure good care of my RL ) and he has offered to do it for me offsite. One way or another I hope to have it done this weekend (without intruding on Sunday games!).

Red face

I got my 'woodie' installed this morning!

Rob & Bob, I will never doubt you guys again. I've waffled for a year over this wheel. After all my whining the only benefit of my hesitation was the great price I got on ebay.

I agree the wood look does indeed pull the cabin together (along with the prior installed shifter knob). I love the feel of the perforated leather and the thumb notched are perfect for me. The stitching is well done and no concerns there.

The wood wheel fits better than the OEM, the gaps are tighter than the OEM. There is a slight color variance between the leather and the OEM plastic trim of the wheel (where the Navi buttons are placed). But considering my RL is 13 months old, there may be some fade. It is tolerable. I do not see any variance in the plood of the wood from the dash, but it may be how the lighting brings out glow and grain in the wood dash.

I can say adding some visual change and tactile change made me feel like I was in a new RL. Not bad for $269! I looked back on ebay today and see them selling for $400+

So who here snagged the 1 left after I ordered mine? 'Such a deal!' <insert appropriate accent>

Whew....I was beginning to wonder if you got it installed and couldn't stand it.

Naaaah......

It really is transformative, isn't it (especially with the wood shifter)?

LOL... I deserved that.

You can sleep well now Rob....that is until I find something else to develop analysis paralysis over!

Over a year of ownership and I still admire it in the garage. I may be a very small minority, but I feel lucky to own this car.
