check radiator system error
check radiator system error
i thought my ac compressor died. made a crazy noise when the ac was turned on. then i get a check radiator system error. luckily i it was cold when i was out of town and didn't have to use the ac. fast forward to finally taking the car to the shop finally...
the shop couldn't find the issue until the temps were back up in the 70's, here in houston. couldn't replicate the issue until then. what i thought was the ac compressor was actually one of the fans. the error was found and tripped a relay that sent a signal to the gauge cluster display. the relay acted as a failsafe to save other components or some shit like that.
damn fan is expensive, 275ish. of course, no aftermarket version was available.
oh, and i turned my rotors too while it was in the shop.
/endstory.
