change tray bulb

Is there a light that illuminates the change tray that is in front of the gear shift? (the one that says "this is not an ashtray"). I can't remember or find any info on it within any of the service manuals. If there is, anyone know how to replace the bulb? I can see a little plastic piece in the back of the tray that could be used to display light.....

Thanks to everyone in advance for the help these past few weeks!

There is no light that illuminates the lid (tray) other than the two overhead console blue LEDs that wash the center console.

There is a courtesy light inside of the bin (Not an Ashtray).

Thanks Tampa, that's exactly what I was needing to know. Any idea on how to get to that bulb in the bin?

I had a meeting Cowboy...sorry I did not respond sooner. But I see Chas tag teamed ya.

I hope you were not sitting with the parts strewn about the garage floor.

That 'NOT AN ASHTRAY' bin light is critical for me, as that is where I stow the jelly beans. And the lid / tray is where I stow my smartphone.

While you are in there, be sure to exercise any console squeak some of us experienced. Mind has been silent since.

Jelly beans, huh? I never thought of that. Here I am being unoriginal by using change! Thankfully, I like to consult the RL gurus here before I completely destroy my poor car. .....jelly beans......you think cheese puffs might work too? j/k

My dealer placed a silver ACURA tin in that bin, filled with jelly beans. Almost everytime I stop in for service, it gets refilled. Once it was breath mints.

Hey....it works for me!
