This may be a dumb question, but I have to ask. I am looking to purchase a 2006 Acura RL from a dealership that's not Acura. I pulled the Carfax history report on the vehicle and saw that the car was bought three months prior at auction from an Acura dealership who while they had it were selling it as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. I'm assuming that the extended warranty is void seeing that the car want be sold from an Acura dealer now. Luckily the car is still under the manufacturer warranty still. So is the Certified Pre-Owned Warranty void now? All comments or advice are welcome. Thanks.

 

I can't imagine the Acura certified pre-owned warranty being valid on a car not sold by an Acura dealer. It's an Acura warranty. If the mileage is not too high, you may be able to purchase an AcuraCare extended warranty.
