My 06 has seen some heat this summer and now the thin leather that covers the top of the twin lids is coming loose and separating from the stitching. What is the solution to fixing this back the way it is supposed to be?

Order a new console lid? Find a wreck that has one to give away?
From the looks of the on line catalog, you can't just buy the top lids. You have to buy the whole upper console part with the lids attached at a very expensive price.

My car is Lake Shore Silver with the cream color interior (YR240L) . Any one have one for sale?

 

find a local upholstery place, I paid about $30 dollars for real leather both lids

 

This has been talked about plenty. Search and you'll see threads. I've recently had mine redone and they turned out nice.

 

I know of a couple hot rod upholstery shops that have turned out some awesome cars. I will take the lid by and see what they can do. Thank you for the tips.
