Anyone have any advice on how to dissasemble the center consol on a 2005 acura RL? I dropped something through the power socket and need to get it.

If its like the 2006 you can pull the side panel off by the seat. check the ipod installs here for pictures they might help you. If you get a copy of ipod installation instructions it might help u

 

I couldn't find much info on it even in the treads for the ipod installs.
only thing I was able to find was that it is easier to get the side panel off if you take the silver surround on the gearshift off first. is this right???

Anyone that has taken the sides off please tell me if they just pull straight out or if I have to pull from one partiular side first and/or pull it up and then out like it is on some cars.
